Position OverviewThis Faculty member teaches upper-division Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Supervision and Management courses to students pursuing a Bachelor Degree.
Courses may be taught in an array of teaching modalities: MDC In-Person, MDC Live (Learning Interactively in a Virtual Environment), MDC Online (online delivery) and Blended Classes.
What you will be doing- Teaches lecture and laboratory sections
- Evaluates and advises students
- Participates in departmental and College affairs
- Develops curricula
- Recruits students
- Serves on committees
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Doctorate in Business Administration, Human Resources, Management, Organizational Behavior or Supervision & Administration; or
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or Management; or
- Master’s degree and 18 graduate semester hours in one or any combination of the following fields:
Human Resources, Management, Organizational Behavior or Supervision & Administration - All educational degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
- Experience with applied learning methodologies
- Ability to communicate effectively with students with a wide range of skills
- Possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work well with students, faculty and staff
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekend assignments
