Supports the Center's leadership in advancing academic excellence through curriculum development, academic operations, and student success initiatives. Assists in implementing and evaluating curriculum and admissions processes, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and accreditation standards. Provides guidance to faculty and staff, oversees academic support services, and analyzes student performance data to promote continuous improvement. Contributes to recruitment efforts, policy evaluation, and compliance with state reporting requirements.
Fosters collaboration, accountability, and innovation to enhance the quality and impact of the Center's academic programs.
- Works closely with the Associate Director of Degree Programs in the development and implementation of the Center's curriculum. Provides strategic operational assistance to the Associate Director of Degree Programs for student services recruitment and admissions.
- Works collaboratively with the Associate Director to ensure that operations meet the strategic goals and objectives of the Center. Assists with the development, implementation, and evaluation of recommendations to improve the recruitment and admissions process. Assists with the admissions process for incoming Master's degree applicants to the Center.
- Identifies resources to support student success.
- Assists with the promotion of excellence towards a competency-based curriculum that provides exposure and opportunities for the Center's students. Assesses the appropriateness of various program design elements. Assists with implementing and evaluating academic policies.
- Analyzes data and develops reports on the progress of student performance, including achievement of objectives, progression through the program, and degree completion.
- Analyzing the data required by the State University System of Florida.
- Develops and maintains instruments to ensure continuous evaluation and improvement of the Center and its respective degree programs.
- Provides guidance and direction to faculty and staff on curriculum development. Represents the Center at recruitment events as needed. Establishes performance standards, tracks outcomes, and offers ongoing feedback to maintain alignment and excellence within all functional areas. Manages the administrative requirements related to accreditation.
- Manages sponsored grants in accordance with grant objectives, scope, and budgets.
- Bachelor's degree and eight (8) years of appropriate experience, or Master's degree and six (6) years of appropriate experience.
- Degree in Education or related field.
- Bilingual (e.g. Spanish/English).
