ISCHS is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Curriculum Coach & Test Chair to support instructional excellence and oversee all school-wide testing initiatives. This dual‑role position plays a critical part in strengthening curriculum implementation, supporting educators, managing data‑driven instruction, and ensuring seamless execution of local, state, national, and international assessments. The ideal candidate is collaborative, organized, tech‑savvy, and deeply committed to supporting teacher growth and student achievement.
RequirementsCurriculum Coach
- Support teachers with curriculum planning, pacing, and alignment across grade levels.
- Facilitate Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) focused on data‑driven instruction and best practices.
- Conduct classroom observations and provide actionable feedback aligned with school goals.
- Analyze student data to identify trends, instructional needs, and intervention plans.
- Assist in selecting, organizing, and maintaining online instructional resources and digital content.
- Update curriculum guides, academic handbooks, and instructional documents.
- Support the integration of technology‑enhanced instructional tools.
- Collaborate with instructional leadership to develop and deliver professional development.
- Coordinate and oversee all testing operations including:
- Florida statewide assessments
- End‑of‑Course (EOC) exams
- Advanced Placement (AP) exams
- College readiness exams including SAT/PSAT
- CTE industry certification testing
- Develop and maintain annual testing calendars and proctor schedules.
- Train staff on test administration protocols and maintain testing security procedures.
- Prepare testing materials, organize testing rooms, and ensure accommodations for students with IEPs/504s.
- Manage reporting, documentation, and compliance for all required assessments.
- Communicate testing expectations and schedules to staff, students, and families.
- Support maintenance and updates of academic information on the school website.
- Assist with digital platforms, learning management systems, and curriculum software.
- Collaborate on academic program improvements and strategic initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s degree in Education or related field preferred. - Valid Florida educator certification preferred.
- Experience in curriculum development, instructional coaching, or data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of Florida testing procedures and accountability systems.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced school environment.
- Proficiency with digital learning tools, data platforms, and educational software.
