Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Kickboxing Instructor and Defensive Training Specialist to join our dynamic team. As an integral part of our organization, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise and expand our students' understanding of various self-defense techniques. You will also have the opportunity to expand your knowledge in other areas of self defense including firearms training, knife defensive tactics, combat medical and more.
Responsibilities:
Conducting combative training sessions in accordance with Florida Defensive Training curriculum and guidelines.Instructing students in various aspects of self-defense, including defensive striking, ground defensive training, hand-to-hand combat techniques, and more.Providing comprehensive firearms training, including firearm safety, marksmanship, and defensive shooting techniques.Developing and implementing training programs tailored to the needs and skill levels of diverse student groups.Evaluating student performance and providing constructive feedback to support skill development and proficiency.Maintaining a safe training environment at all times, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.Staying updated on current trends, techniques, and regulations in self-defense and firearms training.Assisting in the development of training materials, including manuals, videos, and instructional resources.Collaborating with other instructors and staff members to enhance the overall training experience for students.Providing exceptional customer service and support to students, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly.Qualifications:
Previous experience as a defensive instructor or similar role, preferably in the military, law enforcement.Extensive knowledge of self-defense techniques.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively instruct and motivate students of all skill levels.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate student schedules and training sessions.Clean criminal record and ability to pass a background check.How to Apply:
