Lead Teacher, Early Learning Center - BHM, FT, 08A-4:30P

The Lead Teacher will be responsible for the education and care of each child enrolled in the program in compliance with local and state agencies such as the Florida Department of Children and Families, Department of Health and the United States Department of Agriculture Child Care Food Program. Estimated pay range for this position is $17.27 - $20.90 per hour depending on experience.
Qualifications- Associate's degree (or Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with 12 college credits in ECE).
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Certifications:
- Pediatric First Aid/CPR (current, with renewal requirements).
- Basic computer skills.
- Additional qualifications:
- 45-hour training mandated by the Florida Department of Children and Families (Part I and Part II).
- High Scope Curriculum training certificate preferred or completion within 6 months of hire.
- Florida Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification required at time of renewal.
- Maintain professional expertise and certification by obtaining 2 CEUs of in-service per year.
- Commit to complete Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education within 3 years if not already completed.
