Position Overview: This Part‑Time Instructor is responsible for teaching Social Sciences courses across a variety of modalities: MDC In‑Person, MDC Live (learning interactively in a virtual environment), MDC Online, and blended classes.
Qualifications: Candidates must be employed by an authorized MDC Dual Enrollment secondary school partner and meet Miami Dade College Faculty Credential Statement teaching qualifications, including SACSCOC Principles of Accreditation minimum criteria.
- Master's Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Education, Social Work, Guidance & Counseling, or a related behavioral science; or a Master's Degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in those disciplines.
- All degrees from a regionally accredited institution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, staff, and the community.
- Ability to thrive in a multi‑ethnic, multicultural environment.
- Flexibility to work evening and weekend assignments.

- Develop curricula.
