The Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Miami is seeking an accomplished General Cardiologist to join our healthcare team at the UHealth SoLé Mia facility. This role requires exceptional clinical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care. Essential Job Functions
  • Provide Clinical Care:
    Deliver comprehensive cardiovascular care, including consultative services for a wide range of conditions.
  • Patient Management:
    Conduct patient evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and oversee ongoing care.
  • Diagnostic Expertise:
    Perform and interpret diagnostic tests (echocardiograms, CT scans, MRI scans, and nuclear cardiology studies).
  • Collaborative Care:
    Work with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement effective patient care strategies.
  • Leadership:
    Mentor and teach trainees, junior staff, and medical students, fostering a supportive learning environment.
  • Academic Engagement:
    Contribute to research and teaching initiatives, supporting the institution’s academic mission.
  • Patient Confidentiality:
    Maintain strict adherence to all patient confidentiality standards and institutional policies.
Desired Qualifications
  • Board Certification in Cardiology
  • Active Medical License from an accredited institution
  • Advanced Clinical Skills:
    Proficient in managing diverse cardiovascular conditions and performing essential diagnostic tests
  • Leadership Qualities:
    Ability to guide and mentor within a collaborative, interdisciplinary setting
  • Academic & Research Experience:
    Background in teaching and research initiatives, contributing to educational excellence
