Primary Care Physician

Location: Leon Medical Centers - 101 SW 27th Ave Miami, FL 33135
Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician to join our outpatient clinic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients, focusing on general wellness, prevention of ailments, and management of chronic conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular health check-ups, diagnose and treat common medical conditions, and provide preventive care.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients, building relationships, listening to their needs, and making appropriate recommendations to optimize their health.
  • Ensure patients receive recommended health screenings and assessments to prevent illness and maintain wellness.
  • Provide long-term management of chronic conditions, working with referral specialists as needed.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with patients, their families, and other healthcare providers.
  • Keep accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care.
  • Collaborate with other physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Qualifications
  • Valid medical license to practice in the state of Florida.
  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics.

  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
  • Fluent in English and in Spanish
