Position: Ophthalmologist (Glaucoma Specialist)

Overview

We are seeking a full-time Glaucoma Specialist to join our growing medical/surgical ophthalmology practice. You will work collaboratively with general ophthalmologists and subspecialists (cornea, retina, refractive, oculoplastics) in a supportive environment with access to advanced diagnostic technology and a large, knowledgeable support staff to focus on patient care.

We offer two ambulatory surgical centers with no hospital calls, supporting a strong work-life balance. Current office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday; closed on major holidays. Our compensation package includes a competitive base salary, productivity bonus, 401(k) with employer match, malpractice insurance, sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive glaucoma medical and surgical care within a high-volume practice
  • Collaborate with general ophthalmology and subspecialty teams to coordinate patient care
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic technology and contribute to a supportive clinical team
  • Maintain high standards of patient-centered, compassionate care
Qualifications
  • Recent graduates and tenured ophthalmologists encouraged to apply
  • MD or DO and completed an accredited residency in Ophthalmology
  • Glaucoma Fellowship
  • Interest in high-volume surgical practice
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to make well-informed medical decisions
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
  • Florida Medical License eligible
