Assistant Professor of Clinical – Obstetrics & Gynecology; Labor & Delivery

The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Miami is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN to join our Generalist Division as an Assistant Professor of Clinical
.

This role offers a unique opportunity to provide hands-on obstetric care while mentoring future physicians in a highly regarded academic setting.

• Labor & Delivery Focus – Provide direct inpatient care and consultations at Jackson Holtz Women’s & Children’s Hospital.
• Teaching & Mentorship – Educate and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Collaborative Environment – Work alongside a diverse team of specialists, subspecialists, and allied health professionals.

• Cover 12 shifts per month on Labor & Delivery (6-day & 6-night shifts, including 2 weekends).
• Provide direct care for OB/GYN patients and inpatient consultations.
• Use Cerner for documentation and Mobile Charge for billing.
• Participate in the education and training of medical students and residents.
• Work at multiple sites, including Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami Kendall Medical Center, Desai Sethi Institute, Doral Commons, and University of Miami Hospital

• MD/DO
  , Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Eligible for a full, unrestricted Florida Medical License
  .
• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred.
• Passion for patient care, teaching, and academic medicine
  .

• 4,000+ deliveries per year at a Level 3 NICU hospital.
• Recognized as an Accreta Center of Excellence & VBAC Center of Excellence
  .
• Daily interaction with 28+ residents and medical students.
