Assistant​/Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine - Hepatology

The University of Miami Health System, Miller School of Medicine is initiating a search for a Hepatologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor of Medicine level.

• Provide direct outpatient care to Hepatology patients primarily at the University of Miami Hospital and Clinics.
• Perform routine endoscopic services on Hepatology patients.
• Provide inpatient care, on a rotating basis on an APP run Hepatology Service.
• Participating in on call rotation.
• Opportunities to initiate and participate in clinical research studies.
• Teaching of residents and fellows.

• MD/DO Degree.
• Internal Medicine residency.
• BE/BC in Internal Medicine.
• BE/BC in Gastroenterology.
• BE/BC in Transplant Hepatology encouraged.
• Valid unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligible to apply (must have license prior to credentialing).
• Must maintain CME to meet institutional and state licensing requirements.
• Must have excellent clinical knowledge and experience to provide safe and quality care to patients and meet institutional standards of care.
