Client:

Join an award-winning architectural practice with offices in New York City, Boston, Miami, and Washington, D.C. Known for its design excellence and collaborative culture, this firm delivers thoughtful, high-quality projects across a range of residential typologies.

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Architect with a strong focus on Construction Administration. This role is ideal for a technically driven architect who excels in the field, understands complex construction processes, and can effectively lead consultant coordination while serving as the primary liaison between clients, contractors, and project teams throughout construction.

The selected candidate will oversee construction contract administration, ensure design intent is maintained through execution, and proactively resolve technical and constructability challenges. Projects include residential mixed-use, institutional, commercial, and historic building work. This individual will collaborate across multiple offices, working closely with distributed teams in New York and Washington, DC.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of professional experience with significant CA involvement, a professional degree in Architecture, and licensure (Florida licensure or ability to obtain preferred). Proficiency in Revit and BIM-based coordination workflows is required, along with experience using clash detection tools such as Navisworks or Revizto. A strong understanding of building systems, high-rise or complex construction methods, Florida Building Code, and City of Miami permitting processes is essential.

Responsibilities include serving as the primary architectural contact during construction, reviewing and processing submittals and RFIs, conducting site visits, coordinating consultants across disciplines, supporting permitting and inspections, performing QA/QC reviews, guiding BIM workflows, and mentoring junior staff. Participation in business development, marketing initiatives, and firmwide professional development efforts is also encouraged.

Education:

Bachelor of Architecture

Compensation:

  • $90-125k, based on experience

If you’re ready to bring your design creativity and technical expertise to a nationally recognized, award-winning firm—and grow into a long-term position—this temp-to-perm role is a great fit.
