Ware Malcomb is a design firm dedicated to innovative architecture and collaborative project delivery. We invite experienced Project Managers to lead design projects from concept through construction.

Your Role
  • Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate all phases of the project (conceptual, schematic, design development, construction documents, construction services).
  • Prepare and maintain the project schedule.
  • Discuss project health with operations leaders and alert business operations management to schedule, scope, or budget changes.
  • Maintain and update the project planner on a weekly basis for staff meetings.
  • Initiate and approve add‑services in a timely manner before additional scope work begins.
  • Utilize Ware Malcomb’s resource groups to prepare design and construction documents.
  • Provide construction services, including site visits and shop‑drawing review.
  • Coordinate with the contracts team to execute project contracts.
  • Represent Ware Malcomb at jurisdictional public design review and development approval meetings.
  • Assemble consultant teams, define scope, collect fees, select consultants, and facilitate contracts.
  • Mentor junior project members and assist studio leaders with proposal development.
  • Coordinate with accounting on accounts receivable, consultant payables, and invoicing.
  • Coordinate project consultants through all project phases.
  • Work with the QC studio or Project Architect to review contract documents before issuance.
  • Assist with marketing to existing and new clients as requested.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in architecture.
  • Experience on retail projects preferred.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Newforma.
  • Thorough knowledge of building codes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate a complete set of contract documents.
