Pininfarina of America is seeking a Senior Industrial Designer to join our Miami studio. This role is intended for a highly accomplished designer with a strong personal design vision, exceptional aesthetic sensitivity, and the technical mastery to translate ideas into refined, buildable realities. You are driven by clarity, proportion, and meaning, while continuously exploring new tools, processes, and technologies, including AI, to push design forward with intention and elegance.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping projects from early concepts through engineering development, contributing both strategically and creatively. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams and global clients, you will help ensure that every outcome reflects Pininfarina’s uncompromising standards of beauty, innovation, and precision.

• Lead and contribute to design projects from initial vision through final design and development phases.
• Translate ideas into precise sketches and high-quality 3D models that express proportion, purity, and intent.
• Drive the evolution of concepts with a refined balance of creativity, feasibility, and technical rigor.
• Define and manage design activities, deliverables, and timelines across project phases.
• Develop elegant, innovative solutions that elevate user experience while respecting technical and production constraints.
• Integrate advanced digital workflows, emerging tools, and AI-assisted processes to enhance ideation and execution.
• Collaborate seamlessly with engineering, UX/UI, visualization, strategy, and brand teams across disciplines and geographies.
• Engage confidently with clients, providing clear design direction, insight, and leadership.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Design or equivalent.
• 5+ years of professional experience across industrial design and/or transportation and interior design sectors.
• Exceptional aesthetic judgment with a strong sensitivity to form, proportion, and detail.
• Advanced sketching and visualization skills to communicate design intent with clarity and elegance.
• High-level 3D modeling expertise, particularly in complex surfaces and parametric workflows (Solid Works a plus).
• Proven ability to collaborate with engineering teams through feasibility and development phases.
• Experience leading design coordination with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• A collaborative mindset paired with confident leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
