As an Associate Optometrist, you will deliver high‑quality optometric care, collaborating with store management and the marketing team to achieve key performance indicators and maintain the brand’s reputation as the leading optical provider in the community.
Responsibilities- Ensure executional excellence and winning results in partnership with the MOD and store team.
- Demonstrate commitment to exceed results through proficiency in KPI management and high accountability.
- Position the brand as the leading optical provider within the community.
- Act as a successful stakeholder with all leaders within the organization and local market.
- Place the patient/customer first and deliver excellent service.
- Strive to exceed expectations on all KPIs.
- Convey a commitment to providing unsurpassed patient service through the following service process steps:
- Address all patients/customers’ visual life‑style needs.
- Recommend eyewear based on patients/customers’ needs.
- Explain each step of the eye exam and listen carefully to patients/customers.
- Utilize available tools and visual aids to summarize and ensure patients understand each aspect of their vision, eye health, and overall well‑being.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding the need for annual eye exams and ensure all patients are scheduled in TAB for their next exam.
- Conduct all services in accordance with protocol and accepted standards of care.
- Ensure all patients receive accurate diagnosis and appropriate recommendations.
- Establish a positive doctor/patient relationship.
- Utilize and leverage technology effectively to deliver unsurpassed patient/customer experiences.
- Maintain office systems and ensure they are kept up to date.
- Maintain state licensure in good standing and practice within the full scope of that license, including continuing education requirements.
- Provide effective training and guidance to team members using company‑provided programs.
- Deliver clear, motivating, and constructive feedback in a timely manner to all associates.
- Create a positive culture linked to corporate values; identify what motivates each individual and direct conversations accordingly.
- Encourage associate decision‑making at the level closest to the patient.
- Maximize partnerships through leadership, participation, and involvement.

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements.
