Shore Excursions Coordinator –

Where passion meets opportunity. The Shore Excursions Coordinator will assist in preparing shore excursion programs for a selected portfolio of ports within Caribbean and North American destinations. This hybrid position requires 4 days per week in the office in Miami. The role involves close communication with local tour operators, developing new products, and supporting ship operations.
Responsibilities- Communicate with local tour operators about current tour programs, scout for new products and explore avenues for program and revenue optimization.
- Keep tour description files up to date for all programs.
- Ensure insurance certificates are on file and up to date weekly.
- Issue contracts for all tours and operators and keep them current on file.
- Issue and review safety audits through the company platform and act as needed.
- Maintain tours images directory in collaboration with Marketing.
- Send emails to tour operators about procedures and deliverables.
- Communicate with ships in the Caribbean area regarding reports and tour operations.
- Review reports from ships weekly and follow up with ships and operators for corrective actions.
- Travel onboard vessels and by flight for product quality control and site inspections.
- Assist in competitive benchmarking and destination research to identify new trends and product opportunities.
- Maintain in‑house shore excursion price lists and vendor directories.
- Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned by the manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Business, Hospitality or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Preferred: minimum of 3 years’ experience in a cruise line tours department.
- Strong interest and knowledge in destinations, travel experiences, and guest satisfaction.
- Professional and effective communication skills at all levels (verbal and written).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills, highly organized and detail‑oriented.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent phone manner and etiquette with a positive attitude.
- Proficiency using computer software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with product/content management systems is an asset.
- Availability to travel onboard ships and by flight; up to 25% travel time per year.
- Knowledge of languages other than English (German, French, Spanish, Italian) is a plus.
- US Passport or US Permanent Resident status.
- Valid passport.
