Our Emerging Talent Programs, which consists of Interns and Trainees, offer unique opportunities for students, recent graduates, and emerging talent to work alongside the teams that come together to create movies, TV shows, and other great experiences. These seasonal, paid assignments provide meaningful and productive work that allows you to build on your experience and develop your skills further. This Spring 2026 Trainee position will begin early / mid February 2026 and end on August 28, 2026. All candidates must be able to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday in person in the specified location. This position is ideal for entry‑level talent or recent graduates interested in jump‑starting their career in a particular field.
TEAMSony Pictures Content Strategy and Acquisitions provides the strategy for Sony Pictures Television (SPT) Networks in LATAM and Brazil, and the Latin American & US Hispanic Emerging Business. This position is responsible for supporting the emerging businesses. This role reports to the Digital/FAST Content Planning Supervisor. It provides learning opportunities across various areas of the Latin American Content Strategy business.
RESPONSIBILITIESCreate, update, maintain, and distribute programming calendars, programming schedules (grids/listings), scheduling formats/templates, master content inventory and content briefs.
Create and maintain programming episodes information within scheduling system, including program names, episode titles, synopses, house numbers and other types of metadata.
Up‑keeping content rights inventories and updating internal rights file to ensure correct implementation of content availability windows.
Assist coordinator in metadata management for loglines, episode numbers, local translations and other details regarding Episodes and Features on Bebanjo.
Arrange the asset management folder for each network series to ensure searchability.
Log and review all incoming On Air promotions.
Create quarterly programming strategy PowerPoint presentation.
Provide general support in additional ad‑hoc projects.
Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or Motion Pictures (Film/Television).
1+ year of internship / work experience, preferred in data entry &/or administrative experience, and entertainment industry or media experience.
Strong interest in the television industry, in programming or digital/streaming media.
Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to multi-task and work well under deadline‑based pressures.
English & Portuguese Proficiency is a must (written and spoken). Additional Spanish proficiency preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite Applications (Excel, PPT, etc.).
Tech‑savvy, skilled at learning new platforms and systems (such as WURL, Vision, Landmark, Grip It!, Amagi, etc.).
Interest in the USH/LATAM media and entertainment landscape (broadcast, cable, OTT) a plus.
Proactive team player with strong problem‑solving skills.
Passionate about Latin American Film and Television Content or Content Strategy.
Interest in Content Acquisitions and/or Legal (Entertainment Rights).
