Job Overview Unrivaled Basketball is looking for sharp, creative, and platform-native Social Media Specialists to lead the Tik Tok, Threads, and Instagram strategies for our Unrivaled Clubs. This role is responsible for developing and executing a bold, authentic voice across platforms, building a vibrant digital community, and creating content that lives at the intersection of women’s basketball, lifestyle, and the internet.

You’ll work closely with players, creators, and internal teams to turn daily moments into scroll-stopping content.

Key Responsibilities
* Own and execute the day-to-day social media strategy for an Unrivaled Club on Tik Tok and Instagram.
* Create, curate, and post short-form video, Reels, and Stories that capture the energy of the league and its players.
* Work closely with the content, video, and design teams to bring campaigns, cultural moments, and player narratives to life.
* Be embedded with the league—at events, on the ground, and in the mix—to capture in-the-moment content and real-time storytelling.
* Manage publishing schedules, content calendars, and community engagement (DMs, comments, tags, etc.).
* Collaborate with athletes to develop social-first content that feels organic.
* Stay on top of Tik Tok and Instagram trends, adapting and experimenting with formats, memes, and styles to keep Unrivaled Club fresh and relevant.

Qualifications
* 3–5 years of experience managing social media for a brand, athlete, or entertainment property—Tik Tok and Instagram expertise is essential.
* Deep understanding of short-form video, including editing, captioning, and platform-native humor.
* Strong creative instincts with a sharp sense of tone, timing, and what makes people stop scrolling.
* Ability to move fast, adapt quickly, and create in a real-time, high-energy environment.
* Familiarity with women’s sports and a genuine passion for elevating athletes’ voices.
* Basic knowledge of editing tools (e.g. Cap Cut, Adobe Premiere Rush, InShot) is a plus.
* Exceptional communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
* Comfortable being on-site and on-camera when needed, with an always-on content mindset.
