Compensation: $100,000 - $115,000

Tiello has partnered with a growing Florida General Contractor on their search for an Estimator who has experience estimating $50M+ commercial new build/renovation construction projects throughout the state of Florida. This position will be based out of Miami or Panama City, FL
.

• Prepare and manage subcontractor bid receipt logs
• Solicit bids and communicate with vendors/subcontractors
• Assemble and distribute bid packages
• Track bid deadlines and submit proposals on time
• Maintain organized electronic records and bid tracking sheet
• Follow up on submitted bids and budgets with clients and stakeholders
• Conduct internal handoff meetings with PM teams
• Assist in subcontractor buyout and scope validation
• Support PM team with cost breakdowns and trade-specific insights
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site walks
• Support account managers and regional directors with client meetings
• Build relationships with clients and subcontractors to generate future opportunities

• At least 2-3+ years of experience (minimum) in an Estimator position
• Strong work ethic, team player with strong attention to detail, and ability to work independently
• Commercial Construction Estimating Experience is a MUST with projects ranging around $50M.
• Excellent critical thinking, detail-oriented, problem-solving, mathematical, and sound judgment skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, Plan Swift)
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred but not required)
