Clearline Real Estate is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our Miami team. This role will focus on active construction oversight of two multifamily projects totaling approximately 800 residential units, with additional projects in the Miami pipeline.
This position is hands‑on and best suited for someone who thrives in live construction environments, can anticipate issues before they escape, and communicates clearly and decisively with all project stakeholders.
The Project Manager will report directly to the Founding Principal and the Senior Construction Manager.
Location & Availability- Must be based in Miami with easy access to Downtown Miami
- Ability to travel locally between project sites as needed
- Immediate or near‑term availability preferred
- Oversee all phases of active construction on assigned multifamily projects, ensuring execution aligns with budget, schedule, quality, and safety standards
- Manage day‑to‑day coordination among general contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, consultants, and inspectors
- Monitor construction progress and proactively identify risks related to schedule, cost, constructability, and compliance
- Lead and participate in regular site meetings, OAC meetings, and contractor coordination meetings
- Review and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and field issues
- Ensure compliance with South Florida building codes, life‑safety requirements, and local jurisdictional processes
- Track budgets and cost exposure; work closely with ownership to mitigate financial and schedule risk
- Identify potential claims or dispute issues early and help develop practical resolution strategies
- Provide clear, concise reporting to ownership on project status, risks, and next steps
- Support transition from construction through close‑out and turnover
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably with multifamily residential projects
- Recent, verifiable multifamily construction experience in South Florida is required
- Strong working knowledge of construction means and methods, sequencing, and scheduling
- Experience managing projects that are already under construction
- Familiarity with South Florida permitting, inspections, and construction conditions
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and construction management software
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead teams and make decisive recommendations
- Excellent references from recent South Florida multifamily projects are required
