Site Superintendent - High End Residential

SITE SUPERINTENDENT (HIGH-END RESIDENTIAL)

We are looking for an experienced site superintendent to manage our high-end residential projects across the Miami area. This position will work closely with the project management team throughout the construction process. The ideal candidate will have the technical skills required and knowledge of the unique opportunities and challenges that arise in the high-end residential construction environment. They will also have the professionalism and care to manage our critical relationships with our subcontractors, vendors, and in-house team.

This is an exciting role that puts you in the middle of building some of the most exquisite and distinctive residences in the Miami region.

Responsibilities
Coordinate field activities of in-house carpentry, subcontractors, and labor team, including pre-construction verifications and measurements.
Interpret project plans, develop, and maintain project schedule and coordinate field sequencing.
Assist Estimator with cost estimates for materials and subcontractor bids.
Procure subcontractors and suppliers for project.
Perform quality control tasks to ensure custom, luxury standards are met and exceeded.
Ensure completeness and accuracy of scope in bid packages.
Assign work to employees, based on material or worker requirements to specific jobs.
Drive procurement and project engineering functions to ensure that all subcontracts, material purchases, submittals, deliveries, clarifications, and changes are processed in time to guarantee project schedule is met.
Engage with management, jobsite contractors, vendors, clients, and architects to coordinate activities (including permitting and building inspections).
Effectively address and resolve issues as they arise.
Establish and maintain all project files including but not limited to daily logs, schedules, progress photos, plans, specifications, subcontractor vetting, subcontractor agreements, changes in scope or specifications, clarifications, as built documents, etc.
Reports to Project Manager and communicates any challenges or issues in a timely manner.
Perform all tasks and duties in an efficient and safe manner.
Perform other related duties as assigned or as needed.
Remain flexible and adaptable to work schedule and assignments as defined by department and organization needs.
Represent the company in a way that conveys professionalism, confidentiality, courtesy, fairness, personal integrity, and respect for others.
