ThePosition
Torre Construction and Development (TC&D) is looking for a hardworking, motivated Construction Superintendent to join our busy growing team. The Superintendent will work closely in conjunction with the Project Manager to manage daily construction site activities to keep projects on schedule and on budget. The site superintendent will be responsible for the coordination of construction processes and procedures including general daily onsite operations, scheduling, trade coordination, project planning, forecasting, and general management of subcontractors and laborers.
With the opportunity for growth, the construction superintendent will be expected to monitor daily progress and report back to the PM, identify and evaluate issues that arise onsite, conduct onsite construction and safety meetings with subcontractors, inspectors, architects, engineers, and municipalities, and maintain a safe working environment.
- Oversee daily jobsite operations and manage field staff and subcontractors
- Work closely with Project Managers and the management team to maintain schedules, drawing revisions, site documentation, and safety conditions
- Coordinate materials, deliveries, and logistics with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Prepare and manage schedules for field staff and subcontractors
- Communicate daily with the Project Manager regarding operational needs, changes, and schedule impacts to meet project deadlines
- Manage jobsite logistics including dumpsters, daily cleanup, miscellaneous labor, construction fencing, and safety signage
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized jobsite in full compliance with OSHA standards
- Capable of reading construction plans at a high level
- Experience building Custom-homes is preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle (preferably a truck)
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Capability to perform occasional physical work as well as pick up heavy materials/equipment (up to 50 lbs.)
- Must be punctual, reliable, and hardworking
- At least 3-year experience in construction or any other related field is preferred
- Bilingual is a plus
Positions are full‑time, 40 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, with occasional overtime. Overtime may include weekends, depending on customer demand. Salary will be commensurate with experience
