This is a full-time, on-site role located in Miami, FL, for an MEP Superintendent at AKO Plumbing Corp. The MEP Superintendent will oversee all aspects of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for construction projects. Responsibilities include managing project schedules, ensuring safety compliance, coordinating with project teams, maintaining quality standards, supervising installation and testing of MEP systems, and resolving on-site issues to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications- Strong knowledge and experience in MEP systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC coordination
- Project management and coordination skills, with the ability to oversee schedules, handle procurement, and manage cross‑functional teams
- Proficiency in tools such as Drafting, 3D Modeling, Deck Layout, and Trimble Layout
- Familiarity with construction safety protocols and quality control standards
- Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, with the ability to resolve on‑site challenges effectively
- Strong communication and organizational skills for liaising with clients, team members, and stakeholders
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience in MEP supervision or related roles
- A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, or Construction Management is preferred
- Proficiency with modern technology relevant to construction project management
- Understanding of South Florida building codes and regulations is a plus
