- Coordinate and oversee all on-site construction activities to ensure highest standards of quality.
- Supervise trade partners and field personnel; enforce safety practices; support delivery of projects on schedule and within budget.
- Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining the project schedule (master schedule, 60-day look-ahead, and two-week look-ahead plans) for assigned trades.
- Enforce and maintain corporate safety program requirements across daily site operations.
- Track material procurement and delivery timelines; coordinate with the Project Superintendent on contract item lists, shop drawings, and deliveries.
- Participate in weekly foreman, superintendent, and project team meetings to align on field progress and issues requiring action.
- Prepare accurate and timely daily construction reports documenting site activity and progress.
- Identify, implement, and maintain risk controls throughout the project.
- Establish and maintain document control systems to ensure work conforms with latest design documents and approved shop drawings.
- Communicate design questions or information gaps to the Project Manager for timely RFIs.
- Assist in preparing monthly project status reports for client submission.
- Ensure permits and jurisdictional approvals are obtained, posted, and renewed as required.
- Partner with the Project Manager during preconstruction to identify constructability concerns, scope gaps, and risks; participate in scope development, buy-out strategies, and scheduling.
- Address owner, landlord, and city/state requirements to prevent delays and support client satisfaction.
- Develop understanding of project strategy, including financial objectives, schedules, logistics, phasing, milestones, and inspection requirements.
- Oversee daily field operations to ensure site safety, quality workmanship, schedule adherence, progress tracking, and site cleanliness.
- Maintain an accurate, up-to-date project schedule in collaboration with the Project Manager; reflect evolving conditions and meet cost and time requirements.
- Foster positive subcontractor and vendor relationships through professionalism, fairness, and clear communication.
- Engineering, Construction Management or related Bachelor's degree, or equivalent years of related experience.
- 7+ years of experience on core/shell projects. Hospitality or Residential experience is a plus but not required.
- Working knowledge of construction disciplines, union agreements/jurisdiction, cost control, scheduling, safety regulations, engineering drawings and related documents.
- 10-Hour OSHA and 30-Hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health Certificate
- 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User Certificate
- Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Timberline
