The Role

Lithko Contracting is looking for a Traveling Superintendent to join our Travel Team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning the execution phase of large-scale projects. You will collaborate closely with the operational team to create an overall project plan.



Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing a project plan for their phase of work.
• Understands project information and is able to identify obstacles and opportunities for their phase of work.
• Prepares their team to execute using defined planning processes.
• Ensures their team has staged equipment, materials, and workstations for optimal output.
• Utilizes and tracks time sheets, delivery tickets, and sign in & sign out sheets.
• Responsible for ensuring project execution goals are met for their portion of work.
• Communicates project status in a timely and accurate manner to all appropriate parties.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• A minimum of five years of progressive experience in project execution with a large-scale self-performing general contractor or concrete contracting firm.
• Demonstrated experience in self-performing concrete work is required.
• Candidates should possess a diverse portfolio of project types, with a particular emphasis on commercial and industrial projects.
• In-depth knowledge of construction principles and practices is essential, along with experience managing projects valued at over $1 million.
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive successful outcomes for projects.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering is highly preferred.
• Candidates must be willing to travel nationwide and be present on-site according to a rotating schedule during project builds, with the ability to accommodate extended stays as necessary.
