Business Development Internship OpportunityeMed is seeking a Summer Business Development Intern to support our Government Department during our 8-week Summer Internship Program, running from June 1st through July 31st, 2026
.
This internship provides hands‑on experience within a fast‑growing health‑tech company operating at the intersection of healthcare, compliance, and innovation.
The Business Development Intern would be responsible for tasks directly supporting the onboarding of the 7 new Account Executives (AEs) and their segmented focus areas. These would include:
- Conducting market research and data compilation to finalize the segmentation of target accounts (ideal customers w/propensity to buy) across State, and Local government, as well as the Education sector. Potentially Fed (TBD).
- Focus on self funded states, targeting states with current programs that cannot facilitate a GLP-1 direct from manufacturer carve-out program.
- Work w/consultants to coordinate meetings stateby state
- Assisting in the creation of initial contact lists and databases for each of the new AE's geographical and segment‑specific territories.
- Developing internal and external‑facing foundational documents and presentations tailored to the specific needs of the new Government Group.
- Assisting in RFP response
Interns will gain direct exposure to the operational, regulatory, and governance framework of a nationally scaling healthcare platform.
Requirements- Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program (business administration, sales, or related field preferred)

- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Candidates must be willing to work onsite at our Miami, FL headquarters
- Competitive hourly pay: $15.00/hour
