The Business Manager partners with the Office Managing Partner (OMP) and Miami office leadership to advance the firm’s strategic marketing, business development, and growth objectives. This role focuses on elevating the firm’s local market presence and supporting lawyers in building strong relationships with clients, prospects, and recruits through targeted marketing initiatives, events, and thought leadership.

This is a high-impact opportunity to join the Miami office of a top-tier global law firm in a visible, strategic role. The Business Manager partners closely with firm leadership and attorneys to elevate the firm’s brand, drive client engagement, and support continued growth in the South Florida market.

- Collaborate with the OMP, attorneys, and Office Administrator to develop and execute marketing and client development initiatives.
- Plan and manage all external-facing events, including client programs, recruiting events, and cross-practice initiatives.
- Research market trends and business development opportunities relevant to the Miami office.
- Draft and edit marketing and business development materials, including presentations, client alerts, newsletters, and event content, in English and Spanish.
- Develop integrated marketing campaigns to enhance the firm’s visibility and client engagement.
- Evaluate and manage local sponsor ships, conferences, and community involvement.
- Coordinate recruiting-related events, including the summer clerkship program.
- Create digital invitations, manage RSVPs, and coordinate event branding and collateral.
- Provide on-site and off-site event support, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Fluency in English and Spanish
. - Strong writing, communication, research, and organizational skills.
- Proven experience in marketing, business development, and event planning within a professional services environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a large law firm or professional services environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business required; J.D. preferred

Core hours are 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (including one hour for lunch) with the flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
