Transfers in Sport is partnering with a global leader in sports hospitality to appoint a Business Development Lead who will drive commercial growth across North America.
This exciting new role will cover a multi-sport portfolio, working within the global BD team to identify, pursue, and convert new commercial opportunities. You will lead the development of high-value partnerships and rights acquisitions that expand STH’s presence in the region. The role will also act as STH’s global lead for Tennis, shaping strategy, guiding international opportunities, and serving as a subject matter expert for this core sport.

What You Will Be Doing- Building and managing a qualified North America commercial pipeline that supports long-term growth
- Leading proposals and bids, producing tailored materials that strengthen brand positioning and increase win rates
- Supporting and growing existing partnerships to enhance renewals and long-term value
- Developing relationships with rights holders, event organisers, agencies, and commercial partners across North America
- Maintaining accurate and transparent pipeline reporting to support forecasting and senior decision-making
- Providing recommendations and insights to senior leadership to enhance commercial strategy
- Contributing to financial evaluations and commercial assessments to ensure each opportunity is viable and aligned with business priorities
- Analysing industry trends, fan behaviours, and commercial movements to uncover opportunities and stay ahead of competitors
- Representing the organisation at key events and tournaments to expand networks and identify new opportunities
- Leading post-bid reviews to improve future performance and effectiveness
- Ensuring all work meets internal governance standards and aligns with brand values
- Strong Tennis knowledge, including sector insight and relevant connections
- Proven track record in securing and converting high-value commercial opportunities
- Strong financial and commercial awareness
- Experience managing complex proposals and bid submissions
- Results oriented and proactive in identifying new opportunities
