Sr. Analyst, Revenue Management
Revenue Management is responsible for strategic and tactical initiatives related to revenue maximization. The Sr. Analyst is responsible for working in Seaware, setting cruise pricing, creating promotions, assisting with loading deployments, building cruise packages, monitoring inventory and facilitation of groups and other ad-hoc analyses.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Contributes to the maximization of net ticket revenue yields and overall profitability
- Learn, understand and maintain underlying Seaware reservation pricing and promotion rules engine to support all in-market commercial needs
- Populate base voyage pricing, selling limits, inventory and group rules for all new and updated cruise ship deployments
- Actively manage and implement pricing, promotion, and inventory strategy
- Assist in creation and maintenance of all cruise + ancillary (air, pre/post land, hotel, shore excursion, transfers, and more) bundled packages
- Fulfill revenue management tasks within the following programs: groups, seminars at sea, cruise certificates, perishable inventory, strategic partner account programs, loyalty programs, direct mail campaigns, employee cabins, and other ad hoc initiatives
- Monitor any key inventory, pricing and promotion reports for any errors or issues
- Work with Commercial Strategy needed to collaborate on loading, maintenance, and pricing as needed for various packages and inventory
- Work with Commercial teams (North America Sales, Int’l Sales, Marketing, Onboard, etc.) to implement actions related to achieving targets
- Collaborate with Seaware administrators as needed to troubleshoot reservation system issues related to cruise, pre and post land, hotels, shore excursions and transfers packages
- Perform analysis and interpret data to make decisions on pricing and inventory availability
- Provide analysis and interpretation of data to assist in any strategies on pricing, implementation of promotions, currency management and maximization of occupancy
- Performs post analysis on promotional programs and tools and provides recommendations
- Perform ad-hoc analyses on pricing, inventory or other related items as needed by manager
- Provide regular updates to management on key initiatives/products via trading meetings, recurring meetings, and ad-hoc research projects
- Provide coaching, guidance, and direction to support analyst and Seaware support team
- Develops, distributes, supports, enforces and integrates best practices and standards
- Provide analytical support for cross-departmental action plans and promotions with Sales and Marketing
- Supports sailing level forecast guidance and sourcing for product portfolio
- Provides regular updates to management on key initiatives/products via trading meetings, regular updates, and ad-hoc research projects
- Makes recommendations for pricing on full ship charters and large contract groups based on analysis of historical and current data and trends

- Participate in pricing and management of inventory worth $200M in net ticket revenue.
- Bachelor’s degree from four year college or university required with a focus in quantitative discipline preferred.
- Working knowledge of Versonix Seaware reservation platform preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in pricing, revenue management, inventory management, or related area in the travel and leisure industry preferably.
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Working knowledge of Power BI preferred.
