Job Description
The Territory Manager is responsible for planning and executing suppliers’ contracting initiatives, and developing successful relationships with Avendra customers and suppliers in the lodging industry within specified geographical areas in the Caribbean and Latin America.
Candidates are expected to showcase keen business skills to increase customer satisfaction, program participation, solve problems, implement new programs, negotiate, and oversee a portfolio of contracts to ensure suppliers meet their commitments and customers’ needs are met.
Position reports to Director, Caribbean & Latin America. This position is open to candidates based in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, or Orlando, Florida.
Job Responsibilities- Strategic Sourcing
- Author Initiative Strategy Worksheets (ISWs) and manage the annual plan with realistic timelines and milestones.
- Lead supplier negotiation and pricing strategy development in line with Avendra’s principles.
- Own the portfolio of contracts and maintain supplier relationships, holding them accountable for commitments.
- Use market knowledge to develop strategies, improve benefits presentation, and enhance customer success.
- Serve as the sourcing technical expert in client/customer meetings, demonstrating product/service knowledge.
- Customer Care
- Execute Avendra’s strategic value proposition at the customer level, building results-focused relationships.
- Analyze customer activity to identify non-participation and drive adoption of Avendra suppliers.
- Schedule customer business reviews, advocate for customers, and act as a subject matter expert.
- Manage new customer rollout meetings with the Avendra HQ Implementation team.
- Document all FSCR/Customer/Supplier communications in eRM with comprehensive call reports.
- Secondary Responsibilities
- Partner with internal departments to improve value for customers and suppliers.
- Collaborate with clients as needed and participate in complex sales discoveries requiring local knowledge.
- Significant international procurement experience, preferably in food distribution, hotel, or food service.
- Solid business judgment and strong technical sourcing process knowledge.
- Consultative, customer‑centric/customer advisor philosophy.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and customers.
- Analytical skills to interpret results into actionable steps.
- Ability to manage multiple contracting initiatives simultaneously.
- Efficient organizational skills; strong attention to detail and process orientation.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Overnight travel up to 30% (2–4 nights) and valid passport for travel to U.S., Central America, and Caribbean countries.
- 5–10 years of experience in business management, procurement, contracting, supply chain optimization, or category management.
- BS/BA in a relevant field or equivalent experience in supply chain, business, economics, or related field.
- Full professional proficiency in Spanish and at least professional proficiency in English.

COMPENSATION:
The salary range for this position is $93,000 – $103,000. This is Aramark’s good faith estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
