We are looking for a builder who can translate high‑level strategy into real execution.
Seize ownership of Ambiguous, high‑stakes initiatives
—from pricing redesign to new service launches—and move from diagnosis to impact fast.

The Role

We are creating a small, internal strike team that tackles Extenteam’s biggest leverage points: GTM bottlenecks, ops redesign, pricing strategy, process automation, and new service launches. If the problem is ambiguous, high‑stakes, and no one owns it yet, it lands on your desk.

What You’ll Actually Do
  • Drop into the company’s hardest problems. One month it may be rebuilding our pricing model; the next we’ll diagnose a broken process and redesign it from scratch.
  • Own projects end‑to‑end. Scope, structure, execute, and measure them, creating your own project plans.
  • Get in front of customers. Talk to prospects and clients to validate new offerings and help close deals.
  • Build systems and processes from scratch. Turn tribal knowledge into repeatable, scalable solutions.
  • Move from diagnosis to execution fast. We need rapid delivery, often within the same week, without a 50‑slide deck.
  • Work across all functions. Ops, finance, sales, product, customer service—no silos.
Who You Are
  • A builder who comes from analytical roles. You started in consulting, banking, or corporate strategy at a top firm, learned structuring and modeling, but are eager to build rather than recommend.
  • Structured and rigorous. You break down messy problems into workable pieces, using frameworks when useful and discarding them when not.
  • Comfortable in ambiguity. You can impose structure in chaotic situations and drive toward solutions without hand‑holding.
  • Customer‑facing and personable. You can handle discovery calls, pitches, or coffee meetings to grasp clients’ pain points.
  • Analytically sharp but action‑oriented. Build models, interrogate data, and move forward once “good enough” is reached.
  • Low ego, high ownership. You do the unglamorous work to get things done, focusing on outcomes over credit.
Requirements

Must have:

  • 3‑5+ years at a top‑tier consulting firm, investment bank, or corporate strategy team. High‑stakes projects, senior‑leadership presentations, and ambiguous‑problem structuring experience.
  • A track record of things you personally built or fixed that moved the needle. Specific, measurable impact—e.g., rebuilt a pricing model, redesigned a process cutting costs by 30%.
  • A hunger to move from advising to operating. Done with the client‑service model; want to own outcomes, not deliverables.
  • Willingness to be customer‑facing. Regular interaction with prospects and customers.

Nice to have:

  • SQL, basic scripting, or experience with BI tools.
  • Startup experience after consulting, with a strong ownership mindset and ability to build scalable processes.
