Position Overview: As an Automotive Parts Driver
, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers and service technicians receive the parts they need on time. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys driving, has a strong attention to detail, and is committed to providing outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently deliver automotive parts to customers and service technicians within the designated delivery area.
  • Load and unload parts onto the delivery vehicle, ensuring that orders are accurate and secure.
  • Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle, performing regular checks and maintenance as needed.
  • Accurately complete delivery paperwork, including obtaining customer signatures and processing returns when necessary.
  • Assist with the organization and stocking of the parts department when not on deliveries.
  • Communicate effectively with the parts department to ensure all deliveries are completed as scheduled.
  • Provide excellent customer service, representing Murgado in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies to ensure the safe and timely delivery of parts.
  • Report any delivery issues, delays, or vehicle maintenance needs to management promptly.
  • Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience in automotive parts delivery or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy parts and materials (up to 50 pounds).
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with the Chicago area and the ability to use GPS and other navigation tools effectively.
