Office of the CEO Internship Opportunity

eMed is seeking one (1) Summer Intern to support the Office of the CEO during our 8-week Summer Internship Program, running from June 1 through July 31, 2026.

This internship offers hands‑on experience supporting executive operations within a fast‑growing health‑tech organization. The intern will work closely with CEO Linda Yaccarrino and cross‑functional leaders, gaining exposure to strategic priorities, executive communications, and day‑to‑day business operations.

Responsibilities
  • General administrative and office support for the CEO
  • Calendar coordination and meeting preparation
  • Preparing briefing materials and executive summaries
  • Organizing presentations and internal communications
  • Coordinating logistics for executive meetings and events
  • Assisting with special projects and research assignments
  • Maintaining confidential files and documentation
  • Cross‑functional coordination as business needs evolve

Interns will gain direct exposure to executive decision‑making, strategic planning, and organizational leadership within a nationally scaling healthcare platform.

Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program (Business, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred)
  • U.S. Veterans are encouraged to apply
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time‑management skills
  • High level of professionalism and discretion
  • Detail‑oriented with the ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced environment
  • Interest in executive leadership, business operations, or health‑tech
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Must be willing to work onsite at our Miami, FL headquarters
