The SIPA Dean's Office is currently seeking a Temporary Advancement Resource Liaison to join their team of professionals.
Duties include:
- Provide administrative support to the Sr. Director of Advancement for the Green School.
- Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the office as they relate to donor stewardship, including serving as the primary lead for the acknowledgement letter process, assist with sending Thank you notes to donors, and Thank view messages (including birthday and holiday greetings).
- Facilitate meeting scheduling, meeting briefings and other prep documents, including strategic donor-funded projects.
- Liese with the Green School Marketing and Communications team and Events Team on support needs that elevate the visibility and branding of the Green School.
- Provide support for donor related events, including set up and take down.
- Submit actions and other donor/alumni related updates to the Raisers Edge portal in alignment with Green School Advancement Annual Goals.
- Manage, maintain, and assist with inputting of necessary information for Endowment reports for the purpose of central reporting and donor stewardship.
- Follow up on past due pledges - this includes reaching out via email and phone for payment and sending out thank you's as a follow up.
- Help execute the Annual Giving Solicitation Process and Alumni Engagement Activities, serving as the liaison with the FIU Foundation's Annual Giving team and ensuring both Green School Advancement and Communications Team are involved in the timeline, development of tailored asks, solicitation, and stewardship.
- Assist with proposal development and review of donor-related marketing and proposal materials.
- Serve as a liaison support role between the Green School and the FIU Foundation.
- Provide accurate information regarding gift and pledge information and status.
- Assist in scheduling logistics and day of "run of show" for Dean's Advisory Board Meetings. This may include collaborating on ordering food/drinks, managing RSVP's, calendar invites, and materials preparation.
High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of experience; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
Desired Qualifications- Advancement or fundraising related experience.
- Preference for candidates with experience with Raisers Edge or other.
