Position OverviewA positive attitude and professional appearance are essential as this Receptionist position is considered the first point of contact for visitors and clients. Previous experience with general office duties, including word processing, spreadsheets, filing, and scheduling are a strong plus for the Receptionist. The ideal Receptionist will have the ability to interact with internal and external clients while maintaining an upbeat attitude.
This role will also evolve to assist junior executives with clerical support (calendar/expense management).
- Manage the high-volume switchboard and direct calls to appropriate employees/departments.
- Meet and greet visitors, seat them inына reception, and notify appropriate personnel of the visitor's arrival.
- Greet everyone who enters/passes through the reception area.
- Provide answers and guidance to all guests and employees as needed.
- Open and close the office on a daily basis (lights, security, doors, etc.).
- Receive deliveries and packages as needed, when mail services are not available.
- Provide backup support to Boardroom meetings, as needed.
- Maintain visitor log for office & validate parking vouchers, as needed.
- Receive via email and handle all facility requests by reporting to the appropriate area/person to resolve.
- Special projects and tasks as assigned.
- 2 years of Receptionist or related experience in a corporate environment.
- Must be organized and detail-oriented.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Windows skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
