Staff Accountant – Accounts Payable (Supervisor)

Location: Biscayne Boulevard

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Staff Accountant with a strong focus on Accounts Payable to join our finance team. This role will oversee the full AP function and serve as the direct supervisor to two Accounts Payable Specialists. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, organized, and experienced in managing AP workflows while supporting month‑end close and general accounting activities.

• Oversee the full-cycle Accounts Payable process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
• Supervise, train, and support two AP Specialists; review work for accuracy and completeness
• Approve invoices, vendor payments, and expense reports in accordance with company policies
• Manage vendor relationships and resolve discrepancies or payment issues
• Perform AP reconciliations and ensure proper coding to the general ledger
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end close, including accruals and reconciliations
• Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance AP efficiency and controls
• Collaborate with other accounting and finance team members as needed
