Accounting Manager, Financial Reporting, Senior Accountant
Our client is a growing organization seeking a strong, hands-on Accounting Manager to strengthen accounting operations, support an upcoming ERP integration, and partner closely with the VP of Finance. This is a high-impact role with clear growth potential as the company continues to scale.
The Accounting Manager will own day-to-day accounting activities and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting. This person will be a subject matter expert in core accounting, balance sheet integrity, intercompany accounting, and reconciliations. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable rolling up their sleeves while also contributing to process improvements and system enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare, review, and maintain balance sheet schedules and reconciliations
- Oversee intercompany accounting, including intercompany balance sheets, eliminations, and reconciliations
- Ensure proper accounting treatment and documentation for key transactions and adjustments
- Partner with the VP of Finance on reporting, forecasting support, and ongoing financial analysis
- Support ERP integration efforts, including process mapping, testing, data validation, and post-go-live stabilization
- Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and standard operating procedures
- Work in Quick Books and support transitions to or improvements within ERP environments
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and other stakeholders to ensure accurate financial data flow
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve accuracy, and increase efficiency within the accounting function
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting , CPA highly preferred
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- Strong expertise with balance sheets, account reconciliations, and intercompany accounting
- Experience with Quick Books (required)
- Experience working with ERP systems and supporting ERP implementations
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Competitive Salary from $100,000 to $130,000
