Tax Accountant; Bilingual - Spanish & English

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tax preparation, bookkeeping, and accounting, with strong proficiency in Quick Books. This role requires an accounting degree and fluency in both Spanish and English. The position is hybrid remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining collaboration in our Miami office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
• Perform bookkeeping and financial statement preparation using Quick Books
• Assist clients with tax planning, compliance, and financial reporting
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of U.S. tax laws and international tax regulations
• Work closely with clients to analyze financial records and ensure compliance
• Support business clients with payroll, sales tax filings, and general accounting
• Communicate complex tax concepts clearly to clients in both Spanish and English
• Collaborate with a fun, dynamic, and professional team in a hybrid work environment

Qualifications:

• CPA license preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in tax preparation and accounting
• Proficiency in Quick Books and bookkeeping
• Bilingual (Spanish & English) – Highly Fluent
• Strong understanding of U.S. tax laws, GAAP, and financial principles
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment
• Experience in a CPA firm or tax accounting firm is a plus

Compensation & Benefits (After Probation Period):

• Salary Range: $50,000 - $75,000 per year (based on experience)
