Sr. Accountant

Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Miami, Florida. This role is integral to managing financial operations for our growing, multi-entity organization. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be passionate about maintaining accurate financial reporting, compliance, and scalable accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

- Prepare, review, and analyze journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.

- Handle multi-entity accounting, including consolidations, intercompany transactions, and eliminations.

- Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and maintain accurate records.

- Collaborate with auditors and assist with tax filings and regulatory requirements.

- Provide financial insights and analysis to leadership and FP& A teams to support decision-making.

- Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes and implement automation solutions.

- Maintain robust internal controls and documentation to support organizational growth. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; advanced degree preferred.

- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or actively pursuing CPA certification.

- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in fintech, financial services, or high-growth industries.

- Expertise in multi-entity accounting and consolidation processes.

- Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP standards.

- Proficiency with accounting systems; experience with fintech or SaaS platforms is advantageous.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to adapt and excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
