The Opportunity Are you a Public Accounting Senior looking for your first move into industry? Join a premier organization for a high-impact, 2-month project. This is an elite "bridge" role for an auditor to gain hands‑on General Ledger ownership.

• Month‑End Close:
  Lead the close cycle, ensuring GAAP‑compliant financial recording and preparation of monthly financial packages.
• GL Ownership:
  Execute complex journal entries, accruals, prepayments, intercompany transactions and maintain general ledger integrity.
• Reconciliations:
  Prepare audit‑ready balance sheet reconciliations (bank, fixed assets, prepaids) and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Audit Preparation & Support:
  Serve as a technical point of contact for external audit inquiries and prepare audit‑ready work papers and schedules.
• Fixed Assets:
  Manage the fixed asset lifecycle, including additions, disposals and monthly depreciation schedules.
• Internal Controls & Process Improvement:
  Ensure all accounting functions adhere to established internal controls and support improvement initiatives.
• P&L Analysis:
  Conduct deep‑dive analysis of P&L accounts to ensure proper classification and support departmental budget tracking.
• Technical Support:
  Provide ad‑hoc technical accounting research and data cleanup as required by the finance leadership team.

• Experience:
  
  3–6 years in Public Accounting, preferably Big 4 or 2nd Tier Audit.
• Skills:
  
  Hands‑on GL mechanics, advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).
• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting; CPA or CPA Candidate preferred.
• Availability:
  Must be able to start immediately and work onsite in Coral Gables.

salary: $43.27 - $50 per hour
