Staff Accountant

• Accounting or Business Degree with related accounting experience.
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), accounting software (Net Suite & Quick Books), payroll processing systems and databases.
• Balance sheet reconciliation experience required.
• Construction cost accounting knowledge preferred.
• Understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
• High level of attention to details, organization and accuracy.
• Problem solving skills, ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to assume additional responsibilities, as needed.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑driven, and a team player.
• Work is performed in an office environment, which involves normal everyday hazards or discomforts typical of offices. The work is predominantly sedentary and requires minimal or negligible physical exertion, although, there may be some sitting, standing, kneeling, crouching, stooping, squatting, twisting, and lifting 25 pounds or more. The employee is normally seated; however, the nature of the work allows for periods of standing or walking loyee must be able to work well under pressure and within certain time frames.
