Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: North Miami, FL

About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a growing organization in North Miami
. This role will be responsible for managing the full accounts receivable cycle, ensuring timely collections, accurate cash application, and strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate has hands‑on AR experience, strong communication skills, and is comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Manage the full accounts receivable process, including invoicing, billing, and collections
- Apply and post customer payments (ACH, wire, checks, credit cards)
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve billing discrepancies
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on past‑due accounts
- Communicate with customers regarding payment status and account inquiries
- Prepare AR reports and assist with month‑end close activities
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
- Collaborate with Sales, Accounting, and Operations teams to resolve issues
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls
- 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience
- Strong understanding of AR processes, collections, and reconciliations
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems (Net Suite, SAP, Oracle, Sage, Quick Books, or similar)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables a plus)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Experience in high‑volume or multi‑entity environments
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred (common in North Miami market)
- Prior experience in manufacturing, distribution, real estate, or professional services
