Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounting Manager

Our client is a growing hospitality company in Miami. Salary/Hourly Rate: $70k

The Accountant will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will be responsible for day‑to‑day accounting activities. This role also offers exposure to financial planning and analysis through close collaboration with management, providing an opportunity for professional growth and development.

• Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes as needed.
• Prepare financial statements and related accounting reports.
• Review general ledger accounts and prepare and post adjusting journal entries.
• Handle billing, invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
• Perform account analysis and reconciliations, including bank reconciliations.
• Post monthly, quarterly, and annual accruals.

• Bachelor's degree with an Accounting major.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
• Extremely strong mathematical and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently with large data sets.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
