Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounting Manager

Our client is a growing hospitality company in Miami. They are an outstanding business experiencing strong growth and are offering an excellent opportunity for junior-level candidates to grow organically within the organization while gaining exposure to multiple accounting and finance functions. They are now looking for an Accountant
.

Salary: $70,000

The Accountant will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will be responsible for day-to-day accounting activities. This role also offers exposure to financial planning and analysis through close collaboration with management, providing an opportunity for professional growth and development.

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes as needed.
• Prepare financial statements and related accounting reports.
• Review general ledger accounts and prepare and post adjusting journal entries.
• Handle billing, invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
• Perform account analysis and reconciliations, including bank reconciliations.
• Post monthly, quarterly, and annual accruals.

• Bachelor's degree with an Accounting major.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
• Extremely strong mathematical and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently with large data sets.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
