Salary: $75,000 – $120,000 per year

Our client, a growing real estate developer, is seeking an Accounting Manager/Controller to join its growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Direct all accounting operations for multiple real estate development projects, including cost accounting, revenue recognition, and project financial analysis
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for development projects and related entities
• Manage project budgets, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis
• Oversee construction draw processes and contractor payment applications
• Monitor and report on project costs, ensuring alignment with budgets and identifying potential cost overruns
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and industry standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA certification preferred
• 3+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in real estate development preferred
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP and real estate accounting principles
• Experience with construction accounting and cost allocation methodologies
