Job Summary
A national home builder of single family homes is looking for a Construction Senior Accountant. This role is onsite and requires immediate interview and hire. Our office is conveniently located in the Coral Gables - Coconut Grove vicinity.
Base Pay Range$85,000.00/yr - $/yr
Responsibilities- Handle monthly financials and heavy account reconciliation.
- Reconcile GL accounting with construction‑specific accounts.
- Prepare WIP reports, construction draws, and job costing reports.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Maintain and improve financial reporting processes and associated Excel models.
- 1‑5 years of construction accounting experience in the homebuilding industry.
- Strong understanding of WIP reporting, construction draws, and job costing.
- Proficient in Excel and familiar with accounting software and GAAP.
- Detail‑oriented with ability to reconcile large balances accurately.
