Position Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Director of Accounting to oversee comprehensive financial operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This role leads full-cycle accounting, ensures compliance with GAAP, and drives process enhancements while managing a high-performing team. The ideal candidate is strategic, detail-oriented, and skilled at delivering accurate financial insights to support organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct full-cycle accounting operations, including general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Lead and mentor accounting teams, assigning tasks, setting deadlines, and fostering collaboration to achieve high-quality financial reporting and operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and internal controls, optimizing workflows to enhance accuracy and streamline month-end processes.
• Collaborate with leadership to provide actionable financial data, support audits, and drive strategic initiatives through detailed analysis and reporting.

Requirements and Skills

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including expertise in financial reporting and compliance.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing accounting teams.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial process optimization.

Preferred
:

• CPA certification or progress toward it.
• Familiarity with intercompany transactions and international accounting standards.
