We are looking for a Senior Accountant with an active CPA to lead complex accounting processes, financial reporting, and compliance across corporate or real estate entities. This role provides technical guidance and supports strategic financial initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Perform technical accounting research and ensure GAAP compliance.
- Prepare consolidated financials, variance analysis, and management reports.
- Coordinate audits, tax schedules, and regulatory filings.
- Mentor junior staff and drive process improvements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hoc financial analysis.
Qualifications:
- Active CPA required.
- 2+ years of progressive accounting experience (corporate or public accounting preferred).
- Advanced Excel skills and ERP proficiency.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
