Tax Senior Associate – Real Estate at Eisner Amper
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
- Build impactful relationships with new and existing clients and maintain relationships with firm leadership.
- Develop a working knowledge of the client's business, take responsibility for completing assigned tasks, and meet client deadlines.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards, and proactively apply new knowledge to client engagements.
- Collaborate with other tax professionals within the firm to coordinate efforts, share knowledge, and ensure efficient and effective delivery of tax services.
- Mentor and coach junior team members.
- Participate in training programs and professional development activities to enhance technical knowledge and develop industry-specific expertise.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field is required.
- 2+ years of tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience working for a Big 4 or a large national, regional or local accounting firm.
- Relevant work experience with real estate, REITs, private equity or emerging businesses.
- Master’s Degree in Taxation or relevant field (preferred).
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or parts passed towards completion, or IRS Enrolled Agent Certification (preferred).
- Experience using GoSystems or CCH Axcess tax software (preferred).

- Full‑time, hybrid (in‑office or remote) with offices in New York.
- Salary range for NYC and California: $80,000 – $115,000 (may vary by location).
- Expected salary for other geographies may vary based on market differences.
