Trust Accountant

Leads a leading global law firm seeking a Senior Accounting Specialist – Trust to join its dynamic accounting team in Miami. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment where attention to detail, accuracy, and initiative are valued. You’ll play a key role in managing trust and escrow accounts, maintaining compliance with fiduciary regulations, and partnering closely with attorneys, leadership, and operations teams.

$85,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr

• Manage and reconcile trust and escrow accounts in accordance with legal and industry requirements.
• Oversee receivables, payables, and trust‑related transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain detailed records of all trust activity, including deposits, disbursements, and interest allocations.
• Collaborate with compliance, legal, and operations teams to ensure appropriate documentation and authorization.
• Support the implementation of best practices and internal controls within the Trust Department.
• Monitor aging balances and coordinate the resolution of outstanding items.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in trust, escrow, or fiduciary accounting.
• Familiarity with Florida Bar trust accounting rules or state‑specific escrow regulations.
• Prior experience in a law firm, real estate, title, or financial services environment preferred.
• Strong Excel and reconciliation skills;
  Aderant experience is highly desirable.
• High attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to manage sensitive financial data confidentially.
